Too faced SUGAR POP sweet eye shadows

Too faced came out with beautiful french macaron inspired shadows and I couldn't be more excited! The packaging is filled with bright macaron pictures. And inside the colors are just so colorful. Which makes it a great palette to have for spring.
I purchased it for $36 at Ulta.

Here are the swatches taken without primer.
Rock Candy,Macaron,Malted milk ball

I love this trio. It's really wearable and neutral. I love the rock candy color. It's a pigmented white shade with shimmers.

Strawberry Ice,Sugared Violet,Blackberry

This row is a purple lovers dream. It's an easy go to purple eye. The last color is blackberry is a matte and so beautiful. I love colors that are taupe with hints of purple.

Peach Fuzz,Bubblegum,Blue Raspberry

Now when I first saw this palette these are the three colors that drew me into buying it. The Blue Raspberry color is super pigmented and goes on creamy. I didn't even have to layer the swatch. I just swiped my finger through it and was so impressed!

It also comes with a little booklet of guides to how to create different shadow looks.

I feel like for the price these shadows aremore than worth it. I can createso much looks from nuetral to bright colors.

The consisteny of the shadows are so creamy and pigmented. Another winner in my book from Too Faced.

Too Faced Cocoa Contour Chiseled To Perfection review and swatches

With all the makeup companys coming out it can be hard to choose which one will be right for you.
So if your looking for an easy contour kit to use this could be for you. Now I somewhat know how to contour but with this palette it makes it so easy.
The colors are so creamy. They feel like a cream but their just a super finely milled powder.

It comes with four amazing colors. Two are bronzers and the other two are highlighters.
When I swatched these colors I loved how pigmented they were!
The color in light cocoa was extremly pigmented so when you high light with it,you'll notice a difference for sure. It's not a shimmery color it's more of a satin.
LIGHT COCOA

MEDIUM COCOA
Medium cocoa is a mid tone light grey brown. I haven't used it much because it is a little to light for my skin. But I could see it working great for lighter skin tones.

DARK COCOA

Dark cocoa is a matte warm toned color.I've already gotten so much use out of this! Usually when you contour you want a grey cool toned color but for me I notice for me warm colors look best.
I can say it is the softest bronzer I've ever used. It glides on my skin without being splotchy

POP OF LIGHT

Now I know your looking at this color like why is there big gold glitters?!
But hold on don't freak out because when it's applied over your makeup it doesn't look that instense.
I happen to love the shimmer it gives to my cheeks.
I would say just put a tiny amount on the tops of the cheeks sparingly.

It even gives a little paper showing three looks to try out!

THINGS to know about the product:
  1. Can be found at Sepohora or too faced.com for $40
  2. Not blotchy at all
  3.  Smells like their signature chocolate scent
  4. Great for light and dark skin tones
  5. I have worn this to the gym for the purposes of seeing how good it would perform on a hummid day and it held up! so great for the upcoming summer.

Laura Geller For The LOVE Of Baked review and swatches of the set online exclusive

Here is an online laura geller set for sale at Ulta.com. The retail of it is $39. Which is really great because the balance and brighten foundation is $33 alone for for six more dollers you get five more products!

This was my first time ever trying out the laura geller balance and brighten baked foundation. This is the full size that comes in the kit and I bought the medium color.
So occassionally I watch QVC and when Laura geller is presenting I always hear her say how it corrects all the imperfections like a full coverage foundation would. So I was excited to potentially use this as my only foundation coverage and ditch the liquid foundation. But when I tried to just use this alone I could still see all my discoloration and didn't really notice a difference. So it couldn't be just a foundation for me. I felt like it had the coverage of a setting powder where it would help even stuff out but not be able to do heavy lifting.
Although if you have minimal imperfections then you could wear this alone.
But for me I use this as a light veil after my liquid foundation.

Now you know how sometimes when a brush is included in a kit it usually airs on the cheap side. But this one is amazing! It's such a soft feeling brush that I just love using it.
It blends the product so well and makes the application of the balance and brighten so easy.

Now on to the spackle primer. I really enjoy using this product. I do have to say it is a tacky feeling but its the good kind that clings to the product and locks it down. Sometimes primers feel like silicone but this one has a light gel feel to it.
Keeps the makeup on for a very long time and helps to conceal pores and creases.

This is the gelato blush in "Rose Water".
The blush has a swirled look to it and feels soft to the touch.
I like the color it gives and depending on the color of your skin you might have to build up the color. With one swipe it is visible on my skin but I like it to be a little more visible so I usually layer and built it up.

Next item is the eyshadow duo in pink icing/devil's food cake.
I think this is a great eyeshadow duo because it has two wearble shades. One is a light white color that could be used for the highlighter or lid color. The devil's food cake brown color has flecks of red bronze swirls in it so it makes the color extra dimensional.

Last thing to finish of your look is a lip color. And the color that came in the kit was "Purple Current". It is a moisturizing lip crayon love me dew stick. I can tell you it smells so good like a vanilla cake freshly baked.
The color is on the sheer side but you will get a great purple tint from it.

NEW Best of Becca collection First impression!

I purchased this kit at Ulta for $34. It is an Ulta exclusive and limited edtion. I've never tried any Becca products before so this is my first impression of the brand and the collection.
It comes with four products. two of them are highlighters and two blush/cheek products.
On the back of the box is says these are some of their best selling and iconic products so I'm excited to try them out and show you the swatches.

First product I pulled out was this beach tint in the color "Guava".
It is a water resistant creme stain that can be used on your lips or cheeks. I was intriged to see what the color would be. And it was a pinky peach color.
The consistency feels nice and silky and when I applied it on my lips it gave it a my lips but better color. While it is sheer and so close to my natural color I like that it because it evens out my lipcolor.

Next is the shimmer souffle in watermelon/moonstone. It is a creamy mix of a pink shade and a gold shade.
I've tried out cream blushes before but never any with built in highlighter.
Wow when I swatched it,it is so shimmery I personally love that about it but others might find it to be too much.
I can see myself applying this blush and not even having to apply a highlighter ontop.
And the best part is it truly smells like watermelon. With watermelon being my favorite fruit it is a major plus for me.

Now onto the thing that made me ultimatly buy this kit. It is a mini version of one of becca's shimmering skin perfector. I've heard so much great things about these that I had to see if the hype around the product was real.
This is in the color "Rose Gold".

The name of rose gold is so accurate! The formula is so smooth and as you can see from the swatch it is such a pretty highlight. I know what I'll be wearing for the summer time. It's so pigmented I could also see it being used as a eyeshadow.
Now I know why the shimmer perfector powders are so hyped.

The last product is an highlighter in the color "opal".
I missed out on getting a trio of these highlighters over the winter time and ever since I've still wanted to try one.

As you can see it comes with a doe foot applicator perfect for applying it to areas of the face in swipes.

The top swipe is a concentrated dose of it and right below it is it blended out and to me it looks like the perfect shimmering gold hue.

I was so surprised that Theres no misses in here for me. Sometimes in makeup kits you get a product that isn't all to great but I truly liked all of these products.
Now I just can't wait to add these to my everyday makeup routine.
For the value you can't beat this one. It gives you such great highlighters and blushes.

Have any of you guys tried out this kit or any other becca products mentioned?

Disney elf ELSA beauty book haul and swatches whole collection

This is the latest disney collection to hit walgreens shelves. It is none other than the mega hit Frozen. So through elf cosmetices they have come out with an Elsa theme collection that is now  available at Walgreens, prices range from $3 to $13.

I had been checking out all the stores around me and now I finally found the collection. I got most of the collection besides a face palette.

The first item I purchased was this eyeliner/eyeshadow in the shade"Let it go" ($4.99). This cream shade is so beautiful! It has a duo chrome going on. The base color is like a champagne shade then then it also had an irridesscent pink hue to it too. I used it as a shadow base and it worked perfectly. I don't know if it is dark enough to be an eyeliner becasue its a champagne color. But as a shadow base or cream shadow it looks gorgeous!

$4.99

Now I don't usually pick up the glosses of the collections but I had to with this one. Th shades are just so pretty and shiny. One is a white glimmer clear one and the other is a light glossy peach shade.
This are highly scented with some kind of fruit scent. If you apply too much they can feel pretty thick and sort of sticky. But if you do one swipe they give a glossy sheen to the lips. ($2.99)

"Pink Kiss"

"Angel"

This next item I couldn't grab fast enough. From the other videos I watched on this product, people said how pigmented it was. And the graphics on the palette are so pretty and cute!
This palette contains nine shadows ranging in colors. From the photo below are the swatches without any primer.
As for the color selection I'am impressed. The second color from the bottom is so pigmented!
As for the lilac purple it wasn't pigmented enough for me. I put it on my lid and I had to keep packing it on but the color isn't buildable. Other than that the rest of the colors are pigmented and smooth.
This palette retails for $6.99. I would say pick this one up because I see it selling out fast.

Now on to the main product of the collection. The Elsa snow and ice beauty book.($12.99)
The graphics on this book are so beautiful and well thought out. It is alittle thicker than the other beauty books because it comes with a flat top eyeshadow brush.
Upon opening the book you see just how good this palette is. I couldn't hold in my excitement when I saw this at the store. It holds eight theme named eyeshadows like "Olaf".

Here are swatches of the shadows with primer underneath. I like all the colors for the most part but once again the purple color in "Elsa" isn't pigmented. To get Elsa's eye look you need to be able to have a intense purple color. So I would have to grab a purple shadow from another palette to achieve her look. Other than that I love the palette.

The lipgloss in this set is called "Royal Pursuit".
It is a true hot pink. So pigmented as well. You might blind someone when you wear this one.
It also has a very creamy formula. I wish they would have put in a nuetral toned mauve color in it's place.

Now this highlighter is something I could see my self wearing every day! It doesn't feel like a drugstore product at all. This is such a huge highlighter in the palette as well. It is the prettist true champagne highlighter I've seen!

Three things to know about this collection.

  1. It is limited editon and sells out extremely quickly at walgreens so if you want it then be sure to check frequently.
  2. The purple shades are not nearly as pigmented as the other shades. So if your hoping to create an elsa look it might not be something that can do that.
  3. The prices on all the products have gone up. The beauty books use to be $10 and now with this collection their $13. As well as the eyeshadew palette that use to be $5 and are now $7. So the prices have gone up about $2 a product.
