Too Faced Everything Nice holiday 2014 limited edition palette

So the holidays are coming early well atleast to makeup companies they are. This pallete released in September and I knew I had to get it early this time because last year I tried waiting till December to get the Too Faced 2013 palette and it was sold out. So I picked it up days after it was released and have been testing it out ever since.
The palette contains twenty eyeshadows, two blushes, one bronzer, highlighter, three piece blush set, mascara, and a glitter makeup bag.

Since there is so many shadows I decided to showcase four of my favorite light colors and then five of the darker colors. The top two shadows are my favorite eyshadow duo.
  • The first is called"Shiny Happy" and that is highly mettalic pigmented white gold, perfect for inner corner highlighting.
  • Next is "Be You" which is a matte lavender hue.

  • Next row are both shimmer shades. "Marvelous" a glittery light baby purple. It is a sheer wash of color.
  • The one to to the right of it is "Don't settle" a tan brown glitter.

Now this palette also had some really great deeper colors that I will use on so much looks.
  • The first color I'll talk about is "Head over heels" a ultra chuncky glittery sheer blue color. It does need multiple coats to achive a deep color.
  • The very top color is"Knock out" a deep matte chestnut color
  • The one below that is"Secret Lovers" a green brown shimmer shade
  • "Kindness is free" is a pretty cool tone barbie pink
  • My Favorite dark shadow is"Girly" a duo chrome which is a beige pink color which speaks of green. It is an interesting color for sure.

On to the bottom half of the palette. It hold two blushes that I wish had deeper pigmentation. there also alittle powdery when applied. So I usually just end up using what ever other blush I have. The colors are a pink and a peach color.
The chocolate soleil bronzer is on the lighter side of bronzers too. I have to pack on the color to see it show up.
You'll also learn that I love highlights and wear one everyday because it gives the face a glow and so youthful. So when I saw that the palette had a highlighter I got  so excited. I like highlighters that are pigmented so I'll just need a swipe and I'll be done. Well the one in this kit is quite sheer so it takes me quite a few swipes to get any color.

Also included is a deluxe size too faced mascara. I use it everyday and dont see a big difference in any other mascara I have. I apply another mascara over it so it doesnt flake off.

Overall I'am very pleased with this set and happy I could get my hands on it. The shadows are insanly pigmented and great color selection. It has a great mix of neutral and more colorful colors. Just Great quality you expect from Too faced cosmetices.

elf Vampire beauty book Halloween special limited edition makeup

Elf released new limited edition halloween beauty books and out of the three I picked up the Vampire beauty book. It was only six dollars and with all the things in it the six dollar price tag is a steal. I'm so impressed with this palette! The shadows are not powdery and their really pigmented. If your looking to be a Vampire for halloween or just want a vampy fall look then this is something you need in your life! I can see myself using this pallete for an everyday look and more dramatic look this fall. I don't think I've been this excited for a palette this inexpensive before. It comes with false lashes, eight eye shadows, eyeliner, eye shadow applicator, and pinky red lip color.

The first four swatches of the shades are swatched without primer and even without it their so pigmented. The first row of shadows is more of an everyday look with neutral burnt orange true neutral hues. I would give this row a A + for being pigmented and so easy to blend. my favorite out of the three is the third one which is a gorgeous burnt orange with just the slightest gold glimmer.

This next row is filled with dark vampy colors. These shadows have more glitter in them. Just as pigmented at the top row too. You could use these shades to darken up any eye shadow look. My favorite is dark navy blue becasue its dark enough to really brighten eyes.

This lipgloss doesn't have a name so I do not know if it is part of the regular elf lip color collection. It's a nice glossy pinky red color. It doesn't seem to be as opaque but instead of a glossy color.

So even if you arn't being a being a Vampire for Halloween you should still pick up this set because it's the perfect fall pallette. You better hurry to because it's limited editon.

E.L.F Snow White The fairest of them all Beauty book

This beauty book is sold at Walgreens. This makeup kit contains 7 eyeshadows, one eyeshadow priner,eyeliner,2 brushes, peach blush and red lip color. With all of that I was so surprised to see it was only $10! If you're like me your looking at all of the upcoming holiday makeup palette you know what most are $50 and up. So getting this paltte gave me the fix I needed at a cheap price. This was the last one at my walgreens so you might want to head out and pick it up because it is limited edition.

If you ask me for the over all quality of the paltte is a 6 out of 10. It's good enough for me to reccomend it to you if your wanting to try out. The shadows are more powdery then the regular elf shadows I've tried to the point where you need to pat the eyeshadow on your lid to get the best color pay off.

These are the first three colors swatched for you.
  1. "I'm wishing" is a bright white pigmented stark white shadow. No glitter comes through when applied. So perfect for the highlight.
  2. "Diamond Mine"  is a yellow gold and on the side of a metallic formula which is nice but it can easily be buffed out to were you can't see the color anymore
  3. "Heigh-ho" is a rose gold muted color that is the leaset pigmented out of the bunch
The next four shadows are quite colorful.
  1. "Yodel" Is a silver gunmetal metallic with pretty good pigmentation
  2. "One song" Is a chocolate brown with small gold glitters
  3. "Enchanted forest" Is a true forest green color
  4. "My Prince" looks more pigmented in the pan almost like a dark blue purple but when applied it is actually a light lavender color
The next portion of the kit comes with a eyeshadow primer, eyeliner and eyeshadow brush. I have to tell you I'am in love with the eye primer but the eyeliner and the eyeshadow applicator arnt my favorite. I just don't use the wooden eyeliners because they usually hurt on the water liner and I have so much more that I already use.
The last parts of the beauty book is the "Keep Singing" peachy blush. I swatched it on my hand and it is just to powdery and light for me to wear.
The Lip color is out of this world though! I've never given Elf's lip colors a try so I didn't know what to expect but The pigmentation and long lasting quality of the lip color is immaculant. The lip color is in brett and when I run out of this I will definetly be going back to the store to but this color. It is defietly something Snow White would wear and I think they got the color dead on. It is shiny and opaque and not patchy at all.
Elf did a great job of putting together a kit that really reflects something that Snow white would rock.

Once upon a time... The fairest one of them all was you. And you lived happily ever after...

Amazing Claire's haul $75 dollars worth of jewlery for $10 dollars

If you don't know about the Claires store ten for ten dollars store it's amazing. Claires stuff is pretty spendy for fashion jewelry so whenever I see the sale going on I get it. All of this stuff was a combined total of $75 dollars but with the sale it was only $10 dollars, so each was only a dollar.

So ususally in the back of the store they have a rack with all kinds of goodies to choose from ranging from hair accessories to jewelry to even nail polish. I can't emphasize how good of a deal it is. Were else can you go to get such a good deal.

I took a few pictures of acouple that really stood out to me and the first is this coral peace sign originally priced at $9.50. I liked it because it going to look so pretty with any summer outfits.

These shiny bow earrings are so sparkly and glitzy. Just perfect to glam up an outfit. Originally priced at 9.50.

This is quite possibly the prettiest contact lenses I've ever seen. It is so gorgeous I don't even know if I want to use it because I don't want to mess it up. I was thinking of maybe doing a lip balm diy with it. Originally priced $4.50

I don't know if your seeing a trend but I grabbed up all their bow things. Bows are just so girly and are fun pieces to wear. The bow bracelet looked so unique to me and originally $6.50.
The pastel pink bow necklace is this really pretty zipper necklace originally $7.50.

I didn't even know Claire's has Gel nails so I'm so excited to try them out. The back says you can get gel like anti chip under 10 minutes no UV lamp needed.
I got the colors Strawberries & Cream,Mint Green,and Dreamsicle.
These originally were selling for $7.50

I can't wait to try the nail polishes and wear the jewelry and maybe I'll do a review of the nail polishes when I try them out.

Wet n Wild's spring 2014 Limited edition shadows

Wet n wild came out with two new eight shadow palettes and when they were buy one get the other one for 50% I had to get them. They retail for five dollars at any drugstore you happen to go to.

The first palette I picked up was flirting at the after party. It's not only pretty pastel purples but it also has the color of the year in it(Radiant Orchid)
This palette includes eight purple colors ranging from deep purple to the lightest lavender color.
If you want to try to do a radiant orchid color eye shadow look definitely pick this palette up. It's a great palette to get when you don't normally wear  purples but want to experiment with them like me. I usually don't gravitate towards purple but for only five dollars I won't feel bad if I don't wear this palette as often.
When I first did a look using these colors I noticed how pigmented they were. So in that aspect I was glad that the shadows weren't just pretty in the package but when applied on the lid they appeared true to color.
Through out the day I would check the eye shadow and it held up so nicely with no creasing. I'm so glad I got this palette because on days were I want to try out the purple shadow trend I have great colors to experiment with.

When I first saw this palette my first thought was "Why is this Limited edition??" It has to be the prettiest neutral palette from them in my opinion. I love that the right side of the palette has 3 gorgeous shimmery colors. I'm so enamored with these shades.
I can create so many looks using this palette. I'm a neutral girl so it's so perfect for me. This palette is a home run from wet n wild.

foiled gold on the top, bottom is when the gold is not foiled

The gold shadow in particular has chunkier glitter pieces so what I do is foil the shadow. I do that by wetting my brush with water and dip in in the shadow and when I apply it the shadow turns into a beautiful smooth metallic.

For spring 2014 Revlon has come out with five legacy lipsticks that range from early 1946 to 1999. It just shows how long Revlon has been around that they have such popular shades as far back as 1946.
I picked up two shades from fredmeyers for 5.99 on sale but originally they are 8.99. I hadn't really seen any stands set up with these any where else so I had to jump on them.
I got the colors I know I would actually wear. Jungle peach looked like the perfect peachy nude and snow peach is a bright ripe pink hue.

Snow peach looks so intense from the tube so I was alittle hesitant on getting it because I usually only wear nude lipsticks. It comes out super opaque on the lips. I used one swipe and with the creamy formula it felt hydrating as well. When I went to wipe it off it left a stain on my lip that stayed for hours.

The color doesn't look anything like a typical orange peach color but instead like a bright true pink. I like how the color is different from any other lipsticks I own. I now know people voted for this lipstick that dated back to 1956.

The next one is a nude peach color dated back to 1963.
This reminds me of an everyday color I would wear. It goes great with dramatic or barely there lipstick. I love that it is an opaque color and the least is needed to achieve the perfect nude.

The lasting time of the lipstick is great atleast 2 hours of wear. It's creamy formula makes application so enjoyable.

I absolutely love both of these lipsticks and have already gotten alot of use out of them.
